MEC's Legislative Scrambler Set for March 1

MEC's Legislative Scrambler focusing on Economic Development will be held on Wednesday, March 1 at the Mississippi Museum of Art. The breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., and the event will conclude at 8:30.

Attendees of the MEC Legislative Scrambler will hear from Senate Finance Chair Joey Fillingane, House Ways & Means Chair Jeff Smith, and House Workforce Development Chair Donnie Bell.

MEC Legislative Scramblers are another way MEC gives you a voice at the Capitol without leaving your desk.

Over 200 business leaders and elected officials participated in MEC's third Legislative Scrambler of 2017, held on Wednesday, February 15 at the Mississippi Museum of Art. Attendees heard from Senate Highways & Transportation Chair Willie Simmons and House Transportation Chair Charles Busby.

Over 150 business leaders, legislators and elected officials participated in MEC's first Legislative Scrambler, held recently on on Wednesday, January 18 at the Mississippi Museum of Art. The event focused on Appropriations, and featured Senator Buck Clarke, Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee and Representative John Read, Chair of the House Appropriations Committee as program speakers.
