The Speaker’s Commission on Public Policy will hold its second policy summit on “Demand-Driven Education” on Tuesday, April 16 at the Westin Jackson.
During this half-day summit, experts will address the skills gap between education and workforce, highlight successful collaborative models, and examine multi-faceted solutions. After a series of presentations, participants will have the opportunity for dialogue during roundtable discussions focused on the prioritization of demand-driven education.
Attendees will hear about working models for success in Mississippi to align workforce training with economic demands, linking education to careers. The goal of the event is to stimulate more talk and action specifically towards demand-driven education and training for Mississippi, its citizens and its businesses.
