YES! I want to celebrate the achievements of STAR Students and Teachers in my area by supporting the Swayze Foundation's STAR program at the Education Celebration on April 21, 2011, at the Jackson Convention Complex. Sponsors will be listed in the printed program for the event.

The M.B. Swayze Educational Foundation of the Mississippi Economic Council sponsors the 43rd annual STAR program to encourage scholastic achievement among the state's high school students and to recognize excellence in the teaching profession. STAR Students are seniors with the highest ACT scores and scholastic averages in more than 250 public, private and parochial schools across the state. Each STAR Student selects his or her Star Teacher - the teacher who has made the greatest contribution to the student's scholastic achievement.
