Mississippi Scholars teaches students the value of working hard today for more opportunities tomorrow. As part of the State Scholars Initiative, Mississippi Scholars is striving to address the reality that our business and economy are demanding more of workers than at any time in history. Those with the skill, knowledge and the capacity to learn will rise to the occasion. Start dialogue with your child about his or her future. Discuss Mississippi Scholars and the role it can play in his or her success. Ask your local high school counselor or call the local chamber of commerce about joining Mississippi Scholars.
