The hands-on, informative event will be geared toward entrepreneurs or those interested in becoming entrepreneurs. Dr. Adams has personally developed the two-day program that covers three major areas: starting a venture-backed company, market validation, and how to validate whether a market opportunity can be profitably serviced. He’ll also discuss unit economics, customer acquisition costs, developing a profitable product or service model and the most common failures when entering a validated market. Dr. Adams is on the faculty of the MBA program at the University of Texas at Austin, where he teaches entrepreneurship and is also the Director of Texas Venture Labs. He’s a former software executive, entrepreneur and institutional fund manager. He has served on many corporate boards, and has founded or financed more than 40 companies which have launched more than 100 products and raised more than a billion dollars of capital. His full bio is posted at http://drrobadams.com/. Tuition for the seminar, which includes all course materials, light refreshments, lunch both days and a networking reception at the end of the Thursday session, is only $195 per participant.
