AT&T Expanding Availability for High Speed Fiber Internet in Mississippi
AT&T is bringing faster internet speeds to more customer locations in parts of Mississippi by expanding and enhancing their network. The company has made initial availability of access to a gigabit internet connection over their 100% fiber network powered by AT&T FiberSM available to some homes, apartments and small business locations in parts of rural and urban Mississippi. Major metro areas where service is initially available include parts of Biloxi-Gulfport, Jackson and Northeast Mississippi.

Where is the AT&T 100% fiber network? Where will it be available?
AT&T offers a gigabit internet connection over our 100% fiber network powered by AT&T Fiber to tens of thousands of locations in parts of multiple counties and cities across Mississippi.
Cities where the fastest internet service is initially available include parts of Gulfport, Hernando, Madison, Oxford, Ridgeland and Southaven. Unincorporated parts of the following counties where service is available include Desoto, George, Harrison, Jackson, Lafayette, Lee, Madison, Marshall, Monroe, Panola, Pontotoc, Rankin, Stone, Tate, Union and Winston Counties. More information regarding availability will become available as the network expands.
The company plans to continue to expand availability of service to additional areas on an ongoing basis. Some of the cities in Mississippi they are planning to reach with the 100% fiber network include parts of Biloxi, Brandon, Byram, Clinton, Flowood, Jackson and Pass Christian, as well as unincorporated areas in parts of Lamar, and Pearl River Counties.
They've announced the availability of our ultra-fast internet service in 46 metros nationwide. This number will increase when they announce the official launch of service in the Biloxi-Gulfport, Jackson and Northeast Mississippi metros as they continue to expand access to their ultra-fast internet service.
ATT&T plans to reach at least 67 metros with our fastest internet service. They market our ultra-fast service to nearly 4 million locations nationwide, of which over 650,000 include apartments and condo units. They are on track to build 12.5 million locations by mid-2019.
